Will it run on your graphics card?
Cubric Studio makes pictures and video on your own graphics card. Not every card can run the AI engine it uses, so check yours before you buy.
The check runs in your browser and reads only the name of the card your browser draws with. Nothing is sent anywhere. It cannot see how much video memory your card has, so compare that with the list below.
Supported graphics cards
NVIDIA
- GeForce RTX 20, 30, 40 and 50 series, and GTX 16 series.
- GeForce GTX 10 series (GTX 1070, 1080 and up, for their 8GB of video memory).
- RTX workstation and data centre cards from the Turing generation on.
- Keep your NVIDIA driver up to date. The app tells you if it is too old.
AMD (Windows)
- Radeon RX 9000 series: RX 9070, 9070 XT, 9060, 9060 XT, and Radeon AI PRO R9700.
- Radeon RX 7000 series: RX 7900 XT and XTX, 7800 XT, 7700 XT, 7600 and 7600 XT.
- Ryzen AI Max and Max+ ("Strix Halo") with Radeon 8050S or 8060S graphics.
- Keep your AMD Adrenalin driver up to date.
Apple
- Any Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) on macOS 14 or later.
Not supported on your own card
- AMD Radeon RX 6000 series and older (RX 6950 XT down to RX 5000, Vega, RX 500). The AI engine for AMD cards on Windows does not include them yet. We will add them as soon as it does.
- Built-in laptop and desktop graphics: Intel UHD and Iris, and Radeon graphics inside most Ryzen processors (Ryzen AI Max is the exception above).
- NVIDIA GTX 900 series and older, and NVIDIA MX laptop chips.
- Intel Arc is not tested yet, so we cannot promise it.
Your card not on the list? You can still use Cubric Studio. From inside the app you can rent a bigger graphics card on RunPod by the hour (you pay RunPod for the time you use), or use cloud models with your own key.
Minimum computer
- Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), with an installer. macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon, and Linux on x64, as portable versions.
- Pictures: 8GB or more of video memory, 16 to 32GB of system memory.
- Video: 12 to 16GB or more of video memory, 32 to 64GB of system memory.
- Room for the models you install. One picture model takes 10 to 30GB on disk, video models more.
If it does not run
If your graphics card is on the supported list, your computer meets the minimum above and Cubric Studio will not run, you get a refund within 14 days. Tell us first and we will try to fix it, on our Discord or at contact@madponyinteractive.com.
